10 days before the trip

I ordered an iPod touch the other day and I'm anxiously awaiting it's arrival. I decided to get it so I would have a small wi-fi device while traveling which would allow me to access the internet, email, and Skype. I wasn't sure if it would work much in Cairo but there's apparently wi-fi hot spots all over; most of the hostels/hotels I'm looking at staying in have wi-fi. I think the feature I'm going to use most is Maps but I'll send updates to the blog, send email, and use Skype,... Skype is the cool thing as I wont have to worry about international calling cards. I can also use Safari to search for resturant, locations, and last minute hostel/hotel options. Most importantly, I'll have games to play during my long flights and extremely long layovers at JFK. Maybe I should use the layovers to head into Manhattan and get dumplings in China town??
Humm...

Great food in DC Chinatown. If you have the time, recommend it.
